Haikasoru es una editorial norteamericana que trae literatura japonesa de género fantástico (como dicen ellos, fantasía oscura, ciencia ficción hard y space opera), y de autores contemporáneos. Interesante, ¿verdad? Nosotros somos unos grandes admiradores de esta editorial, y aunque su catálogo es algo irregular, como iremos viendo en futuras reseñas, cada vez que anuncian una novedad, el suelo tiembla. En este caso se trata de la tercera antología de relatos que van a editar. Las dos anteriores The future is Japan y Phantasm Japan, las cuales contienen relatos tanto de autores japoneses, como de autores americanos cuyos relatos están ambientados en Japón. Esta tercera y nueva antología se titula Hanzai Japan y tiene relatos de autores tan conocidos como Hiroshi Sakurazaka (All you need is kill), Jyouji Hayashi, un popular escritor de ciencia ficción dura, y varios autores norteamericanos populares como Carrie Vaughn o S. J. Rozan. La edición en papel tendrá un precio de 9,99£ La ilustración de la portada ha sido realizada por Yuko Shimizu.

Pero esta no es la única novedad que nos presenta la editorial americana. También tienen preparada la novela Goth, de Otsuichi. A muchos os sonará este título, y es que el manga Goth es el guión sacado de esta misma novela. Es decir, primero fue la novela, después el manga. Goth fue creada como una novela de lectura rápida y sencilla para el metro, pero parece ser que falló, pues Otsuichi se convirtió en un autor de culto en Japón, y uno de los mayores referentes del terror en el país.
